Sundara is dedicated to the path of freedom and joy.  She firmily believes, that this can be obtained through a healthy body, sound mind and open spirit.

Sundara was exposed to body mechanics at the age of five, when she entered into a ten year competitive gymnastics training school. Her early childhood years were infused with body conditioning, classical ballet, martial arts, meditation and artistic gymnastics. As a teen she began practicing massage and entered into a ten year dance period, choreographing modern and jazz performance as well as studying African dance with a professional troupe in New York City.

At university, she immersed herself in cultural anthropology, philosophy, and psychology courses, opening an imperative window into the human mind and its inherent need for compassion and "oneness".

At this time, she also discovered her first Hatha Yoga class and was immediately hooked, as her body had a lifetime memory of similar postures and the breathing techniques and relaxation methods, enhanced her intuitive massage skills and dance practice. From this point she was swept into a variety of meditation practices, spiritual workshops, shamanic/personal growth work and Yoga seminars in Maui, California, Thailand and India.
She has had the great fortune to study first hand with master teachers, Dharma Mittra, Richard Freeman, Anna Forrest, Duncan Wong, Sharron Gannon and Shiva Rea, to name a few.  She is a Senior Yogic Arts instructor and accredited teacher of The Yoga Alliance in America, leading retreats, seminars and workshops worldwide for over a decade.

Sundara currently runs a private practice, focusing on one to one work, which she feels is the most beneficial to each being.
